Jeanette Amlie

My artwork flows from my imagination and my journey of healing and growth. It is a mixture of many different media, from drawing and painting to collage with sewn elements. Most of it is on or incorporates handmade paper that I produced during my decades as a professional papermaker. As a result of my training and work in Counseling, Art Therapy and Trauma Therapy, it often includes a narrative story, with a message related to soul transformation and spiritual awakening. Some pieces are collaged on canvas and others are assemblages hanging from rusty bits of wire. My greatest hope is that my art touches people’s hearts and souls and inspires our conscious awakening on a personal and collective level.
