My painting is a combination of traditional Chinese Brush Painting, Sumi-e and western watercolor. I use watercolors and ink on handmade rice paper to create interpretations of nature and wildlife.
The main influence of my art has been training with my Emmy-Award winning teacher Dr. Ning Yeh for over 3 decades in the Po Mo (throw ink) style of the Hsieh-I school of Chinese Brush Painting.
I offer local Brush Painting workshops and virtual classes and incorporate centering and breathing techniques borrowed from my 36 years of yoga teaching experience. Iām also an annual participant of the Crestone Open Studios Tour.
